Instructions

Step 1

Begin by browning 1.5 lb of ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 tsp of sea salt as it cooks, ensuring the meat is fully browned and no longer pink, approximately 6-8 minutes. Once done, set aside to cool.

Step 2

In a separate bowl, mix together the ingredients for the Big Mac Sauce: 3/4 cup olive oil mayo, 4 tsp mustard, 2 tbsp diced pickles or relish, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp onion powder, 2 teaspoons honey, 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika, and 1 drop black pepper oil. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Step 3

Chop 6 cups of romaine lettuce and place in large bowls. Add the cooled ground beef, ½ diced onion, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, and 1/2 cup sliced pickles. Optionally, include cherry tomatoes and avocado for added flavor. Drizzle with the prepared Big Mac Sauce and toss to combine. Serve immediately and enjoy the delightful taste of a Big Mac in a healthy salad form.

Nutritional Advantages: Health Benefits of Big Mac Salad

The Big Mac Salad is a delicious alternative that offers numerous health benefits, particularly for those managing autoimmune disorders. The use of olive oil mayo provides healthy fats that support heart health and reduce inflammation. Mustard and apple cider vinegar are known for their antioxidant properties, which can help in reducing oxidative stress. The inclusion of romaine lettuce and cherry tomatoes adds a rich source of vitamins A and C, essential for boosting the immune system. Additionally, the smoked paprika and black pepper oil not only enhance flavor but also contribute anti-inflammatory benefits, making this salad a wholesome choice for maintaining overall health.
