Ingredients
- 6 granny smith apples, peeled
- 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup cassava flour
- 1/4 cup ghee
- 1 tbsp arrowroot
- 3 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 3 drops cinnamon oil
- Juice of half a lemon
- 6 drops lemon oil
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F. Prepare 8×8″ baking dish.
Step 2
Chop peeled apples into large squares, discarding the cores. Mix with 2 tbsp olive oil, cinnamon oil, lemon juice, and lemon oil. Place into the baking dish.
Step 3
Combine arrowroot and cassava flour. Add 1/3 cup of olive oil, ghee, and maple syrup. Beat until well mixed.
Step 3
Spread crisp mixture evenly over the apples, pressing down gently. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden brown. Let it cool before serving.
