Sweet Potato Fries Ingredients

1 Sweet Potato, peeled and sliced into fry shapes

Olive oil, enough to coat the sweet potato fries, about 2-3 tablespoons

A pinch of salt (to  taste)

Step 1

Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F. Peel and cut sweet potatoes into fry shapes. Toss them with olive oil, Black Pepper Oil, and a pinch of salt. Arrange them on a baking sheet for even cooking.

Step 2

Slice chicken breasts into nugget-sized pieces. In a bowl, combine casava flour, sea salt, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and garlic powder. In a seperate bowl, whisk 1 egg with 2 drops of Black Pepper Oil. Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, then coat thoroughly with the flour mixture.

Step 3

Place the coated chicken nuggets on a baking sheet. Bake both the sweet potato fries and chicken nuggets for 20-25 minutes, turning them halfway through, until they are golden brown and fully cooked. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Nutritional Benefits

Why Choose This Meal?

Sweet potatoes are rich in vitamins A and C, which are essential for boosting the immune system, making them a perfect choice for children with autoimmune conditions. Chicken provides a high-quality source of protein, crucial for growth and development. Together, they form a balanced meal that supports overall health and wellness in kids.

Cooking Tips & Variations

To make the cooking process smoother, prepare the sweet potato fries ahead of time and store them in the refrigerator. For a flavor twist, try adding a drop of cinnamon oil to the fries or a dash of cayenne pepper to the chicken coating, or a drop of cumin oil to the egg mixture. If your kids prefer a different taste, experiment with various herbs and spices to find their favorite combination. Have you ever tried Dill fries? They are amazing!
